Interesting comment about the kit sounding as if its snapped to the grid, because I found that it wasn't even close. I spent a good while just snapping stuff to the grid, especially the drums. But I also needed to snap all the other rhythm instruments to the grid as well, like the bass, acoustics and rhythm guitars. Made a massive difference.
Good mix, by the way. It's a nice earthy mix, and I like where you put the drums. Tasteful effects as well. I'm personally a big fan of hard panning instruments one side and effects on the other (especially guitars).
