I'm a bit lost with the imaging. Anyway, tried something.

Like the scratchy record thing you did at the start! Mix has a nice and old feel to it, with a moodiness that seems to suit the song. Songs like these are often underestimated as far as mixing is concerned, think you did a nice job.

Just listened to the original tracks and it seems that scratchy sound is actually noise in the basstrack.

Thanks for feedback. I think it's just my lack of skill to clear those sounds.
