Hi,
this track has been mixed and mastered in 8 hours of work. i deliberately choose to not over-compress the track. i choose a powerful sound of percussions and bass (lovely played) and i kept marimba on the top as well. now this mix sounds to me like a "rare groove" from 70s. i love it.
happy listening,
Sardhouse
I like your emphasis on the percussion and bass. Fits the song very will to me. Nicely done.
thank you Bmullen!! i re-upload the file 'cause i did some small changes during mastering.
Nice work. I've been working on this mix for a while, and I find it a quite difficult because of the "linearity" of the song itself. I'm checking several mixes to find some ideas. Again, nice work ! Marcelo
Sardhouse , good job, but you have two mistakes, the first one the "Alegre" solo should be loud up, the second one is the Hi Hat o "platillos" is one of most important rhytmic base in the genere of music it should be a little bit more.
I hope do you understand me, I don't know English.
