Hybrid mix Analog outboard / Digital ITB.
No secrets here just ask.

- Cymbals are too compressed.
- Drums are too wet.
- Everything seems to have a certain unpleasant harshness/crispiness.
+ Good balance.
+ Guitar tones sound very natural.
+ Nice reverb on the guitar solo. Was that in the stems?
Thanks for the input!

- Cymbals are too compressed.
No compression but they do need some automation. I don't do that
for these forums. that would take a couple more hours.
- Drums are too wet.
Please elaborate on, 'Wet" w/what there is NO reverb on the drums,
but I do hear the "room". Too much room then?
- Everything seems to have a certain unpleasant harshness/crispiness.
Agreed, You could also say slightly crispy, OR modern.
+ Good balance.
That is always the best starting point. But difficult to achieve if
anything is overcooked.
+ Guitar tones sound very natural.
API 560 (digital) and a Hi-Pass filter

Stems are a summed buss group output. This session contained
"Tracks". I mixed the tracks...
- 1/16th dotted delay, Lexicon 42 (hardware) ala. Van Halen,
AC/DC mid 7o's solo guitar.
Thank you for your input. Greatly appreciated!
