BAlance are not bad but needs a ton of highpass filters in several tracks. Your mix is very crowded in the low and lowmids. Also highpass your FX to a certain point especially if they got a boomy feel to them.
Another thing is the master bus is clipping. you should take off compression and/or limiters off so you don't risk the smashed sound and clipping distortion.

Hi john, well done your moving forward with you mixes. I would say listen to this mix what is giving you the biggest head ache and changing dynamics and tone etc is your use of compression, and mix buss limiting, as I write I just got to guitar solo, sounds nice.
If I can ask you to forget about compression for the time being except on your vocals because you cant be without it.
compression; will suck the life out of your elements if over used ; it will make the top end of you elements sound harsh,
it can change the length of bass notes, and make thing sound 2D. USE AS LITTLE as you can. ;also not every thing needs compression on it. The biggest and most difficult tool in the box is Compression, I know this mix will sound great and will move forward in leaps .
This is all said with encouragement, so get your hands away from that compressor.
keep on keeping on
