Wanted to start working on my mixing skills and honestly surprised myself with how good I was able to make this sound (to my ears lol). My biggest challenge was definitely the drums. I did a lot of processing with saturation and distortion to get the snare transient to be longer and overall lower the peak to average ratio. Same for the kick. I ended up only using the top end of the snare mic because everything where the fundamental was sounded so roomy and kinda ruined the vibe. I also wanted to experiment with making bold decisions as far as reverbs go, using them as effects rather than "glue", which added a lot to this sparse instrumentation. I think I like how that turned out? Lmk your thoughts.

-- Notes after listening on laptop speakers: Wow, the bass is really eating up the headroom. Did not realize that on my headphones Smile
