Really great song. I'm in my 10th month of learning mixing and this one really quickly came together.
I'm not totally happy with the vocal. I feel a little bit more control over the emotion was needed, maybe some more aggression.
This was a big experiment in automation for me. It's something I gave a good bit of time to in this latest mix project.
The OH and ride tracks were a challenge because they contained a lot of washy cymbal harshness which I am not fully happy with either.
