Here is my mix and master of the track.
-Aim was to give more clarity of the track without sacrificing the feel of it. Think of early 90's pop rock.
-Drums were re-sampled from the samples given. I wanted more depth to the drums.
-Bass was simple EQ and a reamp.
-Guitars were a pain to sit right in the mix, but some simple EQ, a clipper and some limiters did the trick.
-Vocals I kept dry, except for the background vocals. I didn't think any post processing fit into the feel.
-Mastering was very simple and straightforward. Pro tip: if you have a slamming mix, mastering should be a breeze.
