Hello every one, I hope you like my mix of MR1304_TomMcKenzie. I really enjoy mixing this track. The greater challenge for me during the mixing was to keep all instrument sounding big. thank you for listing. Enjoy

Tonally the early parts of this mix sound very good, nothing is too dark or too bright IMO. Using reverb to push everything back was an unusual choice though; I've always thought these kind songs should be as intimate as possible.
Things get little distressing once the shaker appears. I feel it doesn't fit into this mix at all, it's way too bright and loud. Same thing with the hihat. Both seem to be louder than the guitar solo tracks.
I also feel the drums sound pretty rough for an easy acoustic pop song. Distorting drums sounds cool but I'm not sure if the idea is to make it that obvious.
I think this mix doesn't have enough low end; some of the sub lows seem to be lacking a bit.Like there's a hipass filter in the mixbuss at 80 Hz.
