Yee haw
I'll admit it's hard for me to tell on earbuds but it feels a little muddy. Or I'm just sensitive about that because my mix was pretty muddy. Or both. I think it's easy to go that direction on this one. I think there's probably some lows in the acoustics that can be cut that would help clear things up. I'd say the same about the vocal but I kinda like the sound and I think it might make sense to sacrifice some lows somewhere else. Though I think attenuating some lower mids on the vocal might help the mix 'breath' a little more. I like the alternate pans on the tamb/claps. I might be wrong but overall it feels a little right heavy. Maybe if the guitar on the right had a little less low end energy it'd balance out more. Other than that I think everything works.
Ha, I thought your tag about earbuds was a joke. Guess not! Thanks for commenting.
