Hello all! This is my first mix and post in the community here. I'll appreciate all feedback critical or otherwise. I've been recording and mixing my own band's recordings and discovering this site is such an incredible way to improve on my mixing abilities.
I went for a very straight forward feel really highlighting her voice and through that the story in the lyrics. I loved the song which made it a real pleasure to work on. I suppose it's a whole other challenge mixing something you don't enjoy on a personal level. I'll have to try it next time. Looking forward to more mixes and engaging with you all. Thanks in advance!
