Hi! This is my first attempt at mixing this song, to try out a new plugin (VMR) on instruments, with the following four things in mind:
- use only 3-4 of the same plugins on the instrument and vocal tracks, and a few other for effects
- emphasize the lows of the floor tom and kick, to create some rumble
- apply some stereo enhancement, distortion and effects on the vocal and drums
- make it loud enough from the beginning, without destroying the dynamics of the drums too much in the chorus.
Any critique and thoughts are welcome, thanks!
