Hello everyone! My first post here.
I had much fun mixing this song since I am a big fan of funky and groovy rock.

I am still a beginner in mixing, been doing this for about 1-2 years, so please by all means review this mix and tell me what I could do better and what I should keep in mind. I really need it

There are no mastering effects applied, only soft limiting and dither.

Very nice mix! you tamed those overheads nicely!

a little to much sub from the bass sometimes (the track is very bass heavy).
What I did is put an extra compressor on it with a sidechain compressing only 80hz and below.

Good mix! I reckon vocal lacks clarity, maybe multiband in 100-300 Hz region might clean it up. Too much bass in lo/sub register for sure.
