Nice Simon! Great work on the vocals. Love the clarity and weight. Well managed sibilance control also. Well done. The electric guitar seems to have some resonance around the 3khz area that's poking through a little. I found it quite tricky to eq and balance. Tonally the mix is possibly a little full sounding also. Mainly around the 200hz area which should be easy enough to clean up.
I like where you are taking this Simon. A great start.

Hey Dave, thanks for listening

you're spot on regarding guitars - had already done a fair bit with static eq and level automation but that ~3K does poke through from time to time. I thought that i could live with it but now you've mentioned it...its driving me mad Smile

also agree about 200hz.....cleaning up this area is always a good idea....a bit of a balancing act though as the "bottom " of the snare lives in that region. Will dive into the mix and see if i need to do a seek and destroy or whether i can get away with a universal fix.

cheers, Simon
