Thats what I got out of these tracks. I think it suits the music not to overdo the rhythm section, but maybe the trombones are a bit too much ?
I aimed for a retro sound, and love the room mics.

As I was listening with headphones, it didn't sound so retro to me as the stereo field was very wide.
The singer could be a little louder. Now it feels that the hornplayers are not listening at all the singer when they play the fills.
The trombones probably could come down but may change the nice live brass sound you have from the room mics !
Must admit was listening with headphones last night sounds great on them,it's now just after 6am here will have another listen on monitors later after work
