Hi Harry,
I'm due for a remix of this great song soon !
I like your mix it sounds pretty good on my monitors.
love the vocal reverb would you mind sharing what you used, as a personal preference maybe could be a touch more subtle especially below 200hz area.
Thinking while listening some upper mid bass could come up a touch which may require reducing some boxy frequencies 100hz up on the kick masking the bass.
A touch less high frequencies on the hi hat somewhere around 4.8 and 12 k and more air on the overall mixbus 2k up a half to 1db max would sound great on my monitors.
just some ideas while listening !
Well done

Hey thedon! I do like using the subtle vocal reverbs, but you're right...I was off a little on this one. Back Home to Blue was a little better, but I need to revisit that one in general. Everything I've done so far has been in Reaper only. I save Horses and Back Home as project templates. I can email them if that would that be an easy way to look at the reverbs? I listened to your take and really liked the guitars and balance overall. I'm going to try your suggestion on the bass. The bass and guitars (electric) gave me fits. Vocals: I got a lesson in automation by trying to flatten the spikes that way. Isn't there something easier? Looking forward to your next take, thanks for listening!...
