As a fellow Reaper user (and not only), i must say that your mix is great overall! Well done m8!

However... From what i can hear... there's a little "uprising" between 632hz (or somewhere between that band of boxiness) that simply does not suit my taste...
But that's just me ^_^ Well done again m8!
Good, solid bass and drums mix with a bit of something extra. I like the snare, which sounds like a deep snare now, something I had a bit of trouble with in my mix. The bassist might be a Noel Neal fan.

Thanks for having a listen ,with the snare I made a copy and thickened it up with parallel compression.
I must ask tommy who played the bass and organ ?

Sounds great on my monitors Don. I can hear that slight ~600hz boxyness also but it's nothing to major. Maybe some extra stereo width for version #2

Yo Don......been waiting for my vision to improve before listening and commenting. I'm doing much better now.....can mix again!!!! Yippie! Nowwwwwwwww, your mix was sweet! Nice treatment of all elements....nice control. Drums....great balance....you tamed down those sterile toms and made them blend in nicely. The drums sound real to me now....great job!! I mixed that newest jazz track that Mike put up, but I think I might give it some more work before posting it. Great mix on my tune man....appreciate it!!!
