First mix on JBL LSR305 monitors. Any input welcome. Thanks.
Sounds pretty well balanced listening on small auratones missing a little mid bass on the kick and mainly the bass around 70-200hz area on headphones and larger monitors the lower bass frequencies sound good and fill up the bottom end but touch more mid bass would sound a touch fuller maybe one thing to listen for breaking in your new monitors your new monitors.

Cheers Big Grin
Thanks TheDon. I appreciate the input and your insight. Bottom end can be tricky! For $300 the JBL's are a pretty good deal for a small studio.
Update: Adjusted the speaker position and added some more room ambience to capture the live feel.
a nice mix... sounds smooth

Thanks tgraph. The new update didn't have the attached the mp3 file. I just re-uploaded it. Appreciate the listen.
Second version sounds great Big Grin !

i listened Jackie Greenezm11.mp3

Good sound, I like it. Good balances. Natural sound.

Maybe a bit too spacious. Now the listener is somewhere in the backrow, or just on his way to the ball room. Otherwise I have nothing to complain.

Thanks Olli, yes, I find one of the challenges of mixing live performances is getting the level of ambience right to add excitement to the mix but not wash it out. Appreciate your comments.
Sounds good to me, really like the live feel of your second mix.
Nice mix !
