Hi Braxton - thanks for mixing the track ! I just had a listen.
Firstly, I liked your bold approach to the intro, as it did stand out for me as different - I have listened to a lot of mixes of the song ! The atmosphere you were going for in the song I liked to.
For opportunities - the intro guitar effect also put the the timing of them off vs. the other elements in the song - may have been intentional, but I'm not sure it worked for me - perhaps time shift it or something.
Overall track tonality - seemed bass shy. Did you see Mike Senior's approach to the bass guitar in the March 2015 issue of SOS? Also, some of the lead vocal body seems absent.
