I mixed this song two years ago. Now I'm giving it another try and give it a different point of view.

Great mix. Your drums sound better than drums in my mix ? How did you EQ mandolins, every nuance comes out ? A little more reverb on main vocal is the only thing I would consider lacking. 10/10
Thanks Obelix! I'm glad you liked it!

I decided to give the mandolins a darker sound than the acoustic guitar, so there would be easy to separate them. I didn't do anything special at all... anyway, I'm giving you the mandolins' eq parameters I used, so you can know:

- three notches to get rid of some resonances I found: 491hz -5db, 1.10Khz -3db and finally 1.64khz -1.5db
- a slight boost at 2.64khz +2,5db with a wide Q.

The vocal has two reverbs and one delay, but I wanted to use them just to change the tone and also for a better blend with the instruments, rather than to give it some sustain.

Thank you again for your comments. Smile
Sounds good here Big Grin !
thank you, Don! Smile
