I went for an SSL 4000e style mix using Slate VMR channel strip and VBC with SSL 4000e settings.

Hi Lawrence Bush I can hear the compressor pumping too hard, try backing off a bit and that should improve your mix.

Thanks man. Let me know where, as I'm having a hard to time finding it. If you're referring to the whole time, I think I may have gone for that sound. Having said that, it's not the best mix by any means, but I'll bear it in mind for next time.

Hello Laurence, I think this mix is quite interesting. I especially liked the toms, and that dense feeling in the music you created by the compression.

Hi Lawrence Bush sorry for taking so long, it sounds like too much compression on the drum buss,that's only my opinion though.
