There are some vocals in the backing vocals that sound a bit weird and have been a bit difficult for me to mix.

Good drums balance. I like the beefynes of it. Orchestra part could be cleaner. I agree this is a hard song to mix. As for the weird vocals.. perhaps an fx they put on it and the room it was recorded in made them sound harsh. Had to cut many freq. on them to make them work a bit better. Good take on a hard song to mix. Cymbals could come down a bit on those hight freq.

How's it going shul?
About the voices, as you say, there is a lot of room atmosphere, they are also very close to the microphone and it creates annoying frequencies. I have only focused on the guitars, bass, vocals and drums. I have only equalized the orchestra a bit because the pc couldn't take it anymore.
