I think your mix could use some space or dimension.
Now everything seems to be right in front of you except electric guitar.
Maybe you could try an only er preset to put instuments just a little behind the lead voc.
Practice your analytic listening skills.
Listen others mixes and give feedback.
Become a better mixer.

Hi Robert I Just wanted to say I like the drums in your mix nice and punchy. You have a very clear mix as well good job with the vocals? I just have one question did you just not like the way the electric lead sounded is that what influenced you to change it, or were you going for something different? Nice mix enjoyed listening to it.
