Hi, MWAP! I started learning about mixing last Christmas, saw some tutorial videos on youtube, bought Mike's book and in April I started mixing. This song is the second or the third one I mixed, and I had a lots of mistakes I've already learned how to fix. Overcompressing was one of them and after Zenone's advice, I gave it up and now my mixes sound more natural.

So that's why I love this forum and this community: you learn very fast by listening to others!

It is completely in order to make errors. From these you learn the most. Just continue then you will always automatically better. Also compare with other mixing is very important and helpful. But you know everything already. So stay at Mix, until the next feedback! Smile
