I like James vocal tone.. such a pleasure to work on his music.
Update: While working on an album project I mixed with the SSL 9000 I decided to finalize this song at the end of mastering the album project since this song was also the only one of my post here also mixed with the 9000. Wav file link only.

I enjoyed this mix. This is good.
Only thing I would change based on personal taste is the reverb on the congas. I think a less space feel would be more beneficial to the mix.
That's totally subjective to taste though.
I like this mix.

Thx.. Wanted to take advantage of the openness of the sound field with no drum work in place.. Motown style conga.. After previous discussions, I've adjusted the process for mastering for MP3 delivery.,
