Eddie Garrido's 'Una Semana Sin Ti' (Equilibrium)
#1
I set a task to maintain the intimacy of the sound, but at the same time to achieve stable dynamics. I also tried to avoid sounding too dry. How well did I do it? I would be grateful for your feedback.
I also post "unmastered" separately, where the master bus processing is completely disabled. To avoid a drop in volume, I normalized the level to True Peak=-0,1 (+15.81).
V2 - reduced attack of drums, additional sidechain connections established

Hey Alexander,

Very good mix, enjoyed the nice string soud.
Maybe a bit too full in the low-mids, especially the piano. There is also a lot of  "esses" on the vocal.

Please check out my mix of this song:

Now I tried to experiment with low-mids, but I didn't get anything good. Perhaps a little tired ...

Yes, very intimate. I love the reverb on vocals

Hi Equilibrium
I listen both yours and Lukas mixes, and i think that you have minor midrange buildup between 1k to 2k.
Always check with some reference music, just to be shure. That's what I hear at the first hearing.  Angel
