But one thing i like is that you got the good type smashed sound with distortion instead of that ugly compression that makes stuff so harsh, really makes mono glue nicely and making bass elements pop upfront more. I like that you kept the hammond in mono, sounds so uggly keeping that instrument wide, don't see the point really... "wow its cool its wide", but does a hammond sound cohesive in sidechannels??? no its only because its phasey and flangey in that area it might sound a bit cool, but really it makes the image of the whole mix make you feel seasick. Also i like that you managed to keep the mix bright sounding without it being nasty and at the same time has a nice lowfy vintage tone to it, not overclamped distortion on the masterbus or anything. It is though maybe a bit too flat and needs somethings a bit more forward and punchy but otherwise i'd listen to this monomix a thousand times over before a wide uncohesive and poky mix! goodjob.
Thanks for having a detiled listen and the feedback Version 2 coming soon !

Thanks for the feedback listening back I agree and think I may have overdone the soothe plugin !

Hi Don,
I'm away holidaying armed with just the Soundlink BT speaker and for the most part, the mix translates really well. The bass does sound resonate as mentioned and I'm missing the organ parts a little, but I really like the guitar tones especially the lead part which is my favourite so far. Nailed!

Hi Dave ,
I'm Finding the BT speaker is a great way to check how mixes translate on small speakers my Daughters Have Bose and Sony BT speakers which i borrow sometimes ,of course not flat sounding but they are quite Impressive for their size maybe we will find the auratone of the future lol .
I have done a version 2 but needs more automation especially the organ !
Thanks for having a listen !

I like V2. It's def wider and the lead guitar is in your face. I think the hammond gets a little lost the drums sound good. Overall great mix good job

Hi don v2 sounds good just the bass I think could be raised slightly whilst the other instruments are playing, still sounds good.
