Listenin mix II
Great mix Don !
The vocal ideas are freakin awesome ! Good job
I wonder how it would balance with bas havin a bigger and more dirty role ?
I consider cutting out some mouth/breathing noises like the last "Now - rghsghr noise"
With vox heavily compressed they are very audible. Some people find it unnatural to cut it out, others do it default
dont know, just had the thought
Do you know "abacab" album by Genesis ? Your mix sounds processed a bit like that title song is eq´d - to my audio memory that is
have to hear it sometime soon to see if Im right
great mix !
Old ears, old gear, little boy inside love music and sounds and my wife, not necessarily in that order

I myself think mix one is the best. Its a tad more relaxed and mix 2 was too much it was hard work to listen to.
Both good but that's my opinion .Great work .

Listened version 2. Maybe it's a bit restless? I'd tame the vocals somehow. Technically very high quality and clear. I like the punchines of your beat.

Shortly, sounds great.
Nice idea to use bg-vox more as a texture than bg-vox.
Thanks Olli

Dave.
Thanks Dave the vocals are a touch loud hopefully will sort out in next version
Cheers

It's nice what just a touch of parallel compression can do to give the drums a bit more force. Mix 2 is very nice!
Yes I smashed a copy of the drum track with a waves blue 1176 and blended in but it's really easy overdo without resting ears.
Thanks

Hi Niels,
I agree the bass could more dirty, will work on reducing the noises on the vocals.
