Silona - Learning How To Fly [OoF]
#9
Just a quick note to expand upon the problem I encountered, in case it's useful for anyone.

Long story short. If you're using Sonarworks Reference and you're keeping the microphone in your hand while measuring (as they recommend), KEEP IT AT AN ARMS LENGTH. I found this out while browsing their forums looking for help and best practices.

Here's the measures from 2018 and 2020. Check the bump moving from 200Hz to 80Hz. I haven't changed my room that much, so I blame it on keeping the microphone very close to my chest when measuring in 2018.

ITB Setup: Reaper, Airwindows, IK Multimedia TR5, XLN AD2 ATrigger and RC-20, Waves.
Monitoring: Dynaudio BM5 mkIII, Behritone, Sennheiser HD 650. Semi-treated room.
