Now that you mentioned the 80s aspect (I personally used the latest Chili Peppers record as reference) this song sort of reminds me little bit of Rainbow's "Since You Been Gone". 
I personally feel that the drums are quite overpowering and comparably roomy (even in 80s standards) in this one. I think that could be solved simply by turning the room mics down little bit (to me it sounds little bit distracting when the room mics are louder than the close mics because you hear the room snare as the main sound, and the close mic becomes a pre-ring).
Also it would be great if the other instruments could somehow be given similar spacyness (if only just a little bit), now the roomyness of drum gets accentuated against the dry guitars. (If that was something you deliberately strived for, you succeeded and in that case never mind)
I really like those delay things that you put here (and love the fact that it's not synced to midi, gives the song a really alive feel). That is when they're not stepping on any other stem's toes. Mainly talking about the feedback at the start of second and third verse (after guitar solo). I wonder if you could make those delays little less distracting in those parts (perhaps automating the return down there). I think the main reason why it feels distracting is the fact that the lead vocal is processed with some reverb (and detune/chorus?) while the delay feedback is bone dry, and therefore ends up being more upfront.
I think the end "pappada"
were a really cool addition (and the end actually starts to make some sense now). But perhaps take the effort little bit further and slice and nudge the different parts (the "pa" and the "da" 
) so that they won't get too back end of the beat. At the moment it still sounds more like a placeholder ("someday we'll track the real pappada's and it'll sound great!").
