Sonarworks have a nice plugin called Reference that changes the eq curve of your headphones to make them really flat. It does help if you are solely mixing on headphones but you should check your mix on normal speakers or - even better - monitor speakers too. Although I love to mix on headphones (I'm using Reference and Focusrite VRM Box with AKG's) I always check my mixes on 2-3 different speakers (a pair of Adams, a pair of NuPros and cheap desktop speakers) while mixing.

check this out: http://sonarworks.com/headphones/overview/

What's even more important is that you "know" your headphones just like you should know how your monitors sound when you play pro mixes on them.

Yup, and these HD280`s are super flat... I also give a listen on my BX5 a`s then I`ll listen in my car which is a Sony Xplod system with dual 12inch subs in the trunk. So did you listen to the new mix I uploaded last night?
