just like you, I don't know anything about heavy music, but the sound doesn't sound too different from other heavy songs I've heard in my life. The only thing that bothers me -and I don't know if I should dare to say so- is the snare. It sounds ok to me all through the song but those parts when it's playing fast and repeatedly (Like 1:25 for example). Then the high frequencies in it, really annoy me, I think that I would automate that part and lower them a little bit during that time. But again, I'm no heavy music lover, so what I'm pointing out might not be right
