Firstly I want to thank the band for uploading these tracks. These are some of the best, more professionally produced tracks I've seen around here. Please post more!!
A few notes on the mix:
No limiting, but tried to mix it for loudness.
The guitars sounded a bit fizzy, too much information on the high end that seemed unnecessary. I processed them all through bx-shredspread because it adds body and weight removing the airy frequencies of the guitars.
The bassist is a killer player!
The drum track is another killer. I didn't use samples and focused on giving the snare a prog-metal sound, but a little more dirty. I used the room track as a "dirt track" so to speak, and added my own room track.
The voice was very dynamic and would benefit from finding a better matching microphone. I struggled quite a bit with it because it tended to sound really harsh on the high end with very little processing, but in the end I found the right key using devil-loc to place it in the mid-range in a way that seemed fitting for the song.
There's a lot of automation in my mix and I think it helped me out a lot dealing with the three different guitar tracks.
Overall, I think the reference mix is a bit too wet, so I tried to clean it up and use verb and delay consciously. My mix also has a guitar/bass room, but much dryer, and the delays and verbs of the voice are focused and don't get in the way. The snare (and toms as well) has a dedicated plate reverb because I felt the drum groove needed it.

EDIT: Revision 1 - Now with low end!

I used EQ to carefully introduce the low end that was missing in the mix. Most of it is on the mix bus, but there are also some adjustments in the bass, guitars and kick. I de-essed the voice (using the awesome debess from airwindows) and added a little bit more of 10k now that the esses went out of the way.
