Dark Ride - Deny Control (NARD STUDIOS) - arkana - 25-01-2023 Hi, newbie here.. Love the song and the project Great project overall! i just learning (again) about mixing Mixing this project about 3 hour Any comment is welcome This is my V1 Mixing and Mastering Still not satisfied on the drum Will correct it next Version RE: Dark Ride - Deny Control (NARD STUDIOS) - arkana - 26-01-2023 Version 2!! Log : Correcting the drum mix reduce sub on bass track (Still haven't car check yet) Any comments welcome RE: Dark Ride - Deny Control (NARD STUDIOS) - spycs - 26-01-2023 Hi arkana. You got me headbanging, cool mix. Have you tried adding some more low end to the Kick drum? I think a few more dB would really help the song's momentum. The guitars' midrange seems like it could be massaged some more, sounds nasal at times. The snare is almost there, I'd like it to be less boxy (look around the 250 to 500hz range). More overheads? I like high-end RE: Dark Ride - Deny Control (NARD STUDIOS) - arkana - 27-01-2023 (26-01-2023, 06:36 PM)spycs Wrote: Hi arkana. Subtle change.. Log : - Kick : More low end, more click, more attack, reduce the volume - Snare : More attack, lower sustain, reduce 200hz and 500hz (i think the snare still too loud?) - Ride, Crash, OH : change compressor setting, boost top end - Bass : Cut the "grind" frequency Any comments welcome RE: Dark Ride - Deny Control (NARD STUDIOS) - AudioAlien - 12-05-2023 nice drums!
