'Never Let You Go' Mix - Nick - 14-09-2021 Tell me your thoughts! Edit 10/6/21 - v2 added, more low mids among a couple other changes RE: 'Never Let You Go' Mix - Y's Man - 14-09-2021 From listening it sounds good and looking at levels is fine, but i noticed in every feedback you gave you mentioned low mids and looking at the graphs yours is low in the low mids so i think thats something to consider about your listening enviroment if you could check mine id appreciate it https://discussion.cambridge-mt.com/showthread.php?tid=40485 RE: 'Never Let You Go' Mix - Nick - 07-10-2021 (14-09-2021, 07:51 AM)Ys Man Wrote: From listening it sounds good and looking at levels is fine, but i noticed in every feedback you gave you mentioned low mids and looking at the graphs yours is low in the low mids so i think thats something to consider about your listening enviromentThanks for the input. I like your approach in the second half of the first verse. Your second verse feels cluttered, maybe filter in some instruments or pull them down? The balance between the instruments is good, maybe a little boost on the snare, a boost on the main synth (that one with printed filtering effects) and pull down the tranision effects a bit, but that is mostly preference. |
