i tweaked a little to make it more clearer. check it out
this version is a little bit better then before but still suffers from the same problems. crazy panning and eq decisions, too much reverb, too much everything. did you read my faq for this song? Because I don't even know where to start Smile

try this:

- start from scratch
- first get the panning right. rhythm guitars hard left/right. Bass, Vocals, Snare, kick, all in the middle. Solo guitars in the middle except for the melody guitars (hard left/right)
- now go to the last chorus and let it loop. tweak the levels of each track until you have a good mix going and everything feels right.
- DO NOT USE EQ, just work with highpass/lowpass filters and get rid of the low and high end you don't need. use your ears, not some crazy "guide". the tracks are allready in a good shape, there is no need to EQ them to death
- Don't use compression - the guitars don't need them, the bass is allready very consistent, the vocals are preprocessed too. Just concentrate on the last chorus and get a good mix going

If you think everything is in the right place go to the part before the last chorus and do the exact same thing (levels, panning etc.). But this time you have to make sure that the last chorus still hits hard and the part before it (the solo) is just a little bit less exciting. the small pause before the last chorus may help you with this task because you could turn the whole solo part down a little, let's say 0.5 db overall. you have to use automation for this task because otherwise you will change the levels of the tracks in the last chorus too and ruin everything you have done before. if you don't know what automation is or how it works in your daw, fire up google and watch some guides. from that point you just work your way to the start of the song. Every decision you make has an impact on everything you did before so you really have to listen and let your ears decide. Hope this helps, Blitzzz
