Hi All!

First time here Confused

What a FANTASTIC site!! Had a listen to a few of you other guys work and WOW there are some REALLY talented people on here Big Grin Nice one!!

Here's my first go at What I want..... The stereo bus of the keys is a little annoying to work with... i'm thinking i might go back and chop it up a little as the piano dominates the L channel a lot in parts (in my mix as i flipped the channels as i like piano left as in an orchestral setup..... ok i'm old!!! lol ) It's possibly a little hot down the bottom end in places but i thought it would be interesting to throw it out there....... scary!!!!!!!!!! lol

Now i'm off for a listen to some of you guys other stuff...... Smile
I like the mix balance and panning treatment of the guitars and piano particularly.

Only comment I have is on the lead vox fx. The overt style suites the song, but the wide panning made it hard to focus on the lead when listening (admittedly this was listening on headphones, I'll have another listen later on monitors). Perhaps the vox effect narrower or even mono?

Thanks for your input jeff.... appreciated!
Yes i figured there's not a great deal of subtlety or density of instruments compared to some material and also i thought i would try something other than reverb or the usual delay type process...... kinda late 70's early 80's kinda vibe.....used a couple of different flangers on sends for the guitar breaks to add a little more interest without detracting from the players sound...... that's my excuse Wink
I mix on Adam A7X/Avantone Monoblock/AKG K702 and the whole thing collapses to mono here very well... although it's not the best acoustic environment here Sad
