Lots of tracks on this one. Struggled to mask the clipping on certain parts of the lead vocal. Normally I mix out of the box but decided to mix in the box on this one so I can easily edit and re-post according to any suggestions. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
- Lead vocal is a bit harsh. T's and S's. Use a deesser
- Too much 2-bus compression. When the band comes in, the volume drops. The intro and breakdown is "louder" than the verse.
- Piano is little boxy. Cut some mids.
+ Nice drum sound. Bring them a bit more forward.
+ Great level for the backing vocals. +++++
+ Balance is for the most part really good.

what's going on in the intro… it's terribly dark sounding, vocals sound simply horrible there
compression is quite audible but maybe that's your choice
balance sounds really good!
