I think time based effects are more of preference than anything when it comes to music but they do create a "space" and tell a story about that space based on the decay and reflections. The space you made seems small, like a venue with a tile floor and empty room.

It's a good balance but I believe the kick sometimes is put in the background because of the bass.
You made me rethink the mix I did of this song. I'm gonna go back and put more low end on it. Mine sounds thin.

Yes I Agree about the balance of the kick and bass,will have another go down the track with a little more practice.
