Thanks for listening! I'm waiting for your feedback.

RockMe_FacingTheTruth_HSI_mix_1 is a mix, and RockMe_FacingTheTruth_HSI_mst_1 is a mastering of that mix.
Balances on the instruments are pretty solid.
The vocal is too forward in my opinion so a bit more reverb on it could help blend it better.
Solo is very loud, it's on top of the vocal so you should drop the volume like 3dbs on it.

Thanks for the sound advice!

I'll try to adjust it a bit and upload it again.
Hi MTO. reference mix 2
As Shul said pretty solid, I like how the drums are pushing this along nice.my own preference; the hi hats could be set back; a little distracting.
There is a fight going on for the low mids between the bass and those main rhythm guitars, I would leave them to thr bass and shelve some low on thous guitars; this will clean thins up . With the pre solo guitar break so loud, when the whole track comes back in together for main guitar solo the track sounds quiet and small creating the illusion that the you have turn the mix down.
The main vocal still feels a little disconnected from the mix and also a little small , possible over compression?
All in all this mix has a nice groove to it and a nice choice of image placement .
I think with a few balance tweaks , and using a bit more delay (verb on guitars to add a little more depth) this might s
would sit the mix in the pocket.

Hope this helps . nice work

Keep on Keeping on.

Thanks for listening in detail!

I often find myself realizing a lot thanks to the advice you both gave me.
I will adjust and make adjustments based on your valuable input.
I was given a lot of advice, so I made it. Please listen to it. I'm waiting for your feedback!

RockMe_FacingTheTruth_HSI_mix_2.mp3 is a mix.
RockMe_FacingTheTruth_HSI_mst_2.mp3 is the mix that I mastered.
Well done MTO. nice changes your elements are cutting through nice.
Two thoughts for me; one ;when mastering or limiting a track the top FQ especially cymbals and Fq from 2ktoo 2000k
become a lot louder. ;with this in mind we need to watch these FQ on our overall mix ;this said, your cymbals are cutting through to much; to resolve; overhead track ,poss , drum room shelve those Fq down ,not too much thou.
Secondly , vocal verb, we want those vocal to be upfront but still set in a space; here we need to play with our pre delay.
start by setting from 23m sec then look to increase/ decrease to taste ;this should make us here vocal first then verb after, or we could just have a delay only on vocal instead of verb.

Well done nice job ,I like the energy you have captured in this song.
I like how you have moved the mix forward.

keep on keeping on

Thank you too for your advice.

Thanks for giving me a great insight into the problems I had when I mastered it. I was indeed concerned about the cymbal sound, so I will try to adjust it with EQ.

I was also having trouble getting the vocals to blend in with the instruments, but your input has been helpful.

I adjusted the pre-delay on the reverb.

And I tried to balance it a bit in my own way.
I made some adjustments based on your valuable advice.
