Great production and really fun trying to make everything fit!
Made a first static pass, open to feedback.
Hi ERJEE,

Great mix, nice balance.
Although I love the bass tone, I find it a bit distracting ( maybe lower it just a tad )... but it suits nicely in the mid part
At first I didn't like the snare verb ( also too distracting ), but I find it suitable for the song.

Nice job!!
Cheers
thanks for listening and I agree with your bass comment! Made a V2 with the bass mixed slightly lower in the first part of the song
Well.. it sounds nice to me! Great mix...
I hope I'll get mine in the same ball-park

Cheers
thanks!
This is a tough one. Some really great ideas and a great mix, but there is something in a wide presence boost that makes this very difficult to listen to on my playback system. It seems like every instrument is vying for that presence space and the fight gets very gritty. I think you captured the song very well in your mix but the battle in the upper-mids is hurting the listenability for me. (Mix2)
Thanks for your feedback @ Mixinthecloud! Indeed I pushed the upper mids quite a bit - tamed them a bit in V3. Not sure if this mix is still exciting enough though..
Hey Erjee,

It's a good mix. I find the voices a little too upfront for my taste. The guitars have kept their original, somewhat raw sound. But I don't hear the rolls and ghostnotes between the hits on the snare. This makes the rhythm a little heavy. Otherwise, good job.

Franz
Great catch Franz! The gate was the cause of losing the ghost notes. Made a V4.
Thanks for listening!
Yes, with this V4, we are there. Well done !

Cheers !
