Here's some attempts:

Mix 1 (1a) - Not to be taken seriously. I was just having some fun.
Mix 2 (3f) - Not to be taken seriously either but I wanted to give it a traditional try. Not really mastered so probably a relatively low level.
Mix 3 (4c) - To be taken very seriously. Meh. I needed to get it out of my system. Still not great but I did what I could also not really mastered.
Mix 4 (5a) - quick mix to figure some things out. I don't love it. A bit loud and 'glassy' which is a weird adjective but feels like it fits.

Thanks!
I like the drums just in the right speaker ,very 60`s 4 track recording method. like how you have had fun with this , It has a nice bit of energy in this mix. A fade out at the end; very retro .
Cheers.

Thanks. I would have just messed it up if I did a "real" mix so I just messed it up on purpose. It kinda works.
Drums a lil too loud in comparison. Does remind me of the mix "long train running" from the doobie brothers which at some point I mixed as well. Maybe when stereo was a very recent thing people were shocked that you could pan individual instruments. For me nowadays it's just ear fatiguing when you have this type of mix on a song.

Thanks for listening
I think 4c is on the money just the bass too overwhelming. Everything else sounds great.

Yeah, bass is tricky for me on earbuds. And I think I try to counter some of the midrange of the guitars with some bass.
Anyway, good to know thanks.
