mix one any thoughts



second mix of facing the truth, with a few balance adjustments  any thoughts

Hi dude! Just paying back for the feedbacks.
Checking the two mixes and i must say that i like more the mix1 i heard it more clean and with more definition and also i like sounds of the overs in that mix. Just in the main choruses and part of the outro some drum beats get lost, are you using some trigger plugin? it sounds like that. So, yeah, i prefer the first mix. Hope to see you forward in futures mixes!

Nice one!! I am using a gate to cut out bleed on snare and kick, so possible tweak on gate to stop some missed hits. I try to avoid triggering samples , I like the challenge of trying to shape the drum.
i will look at the compressor on kick and snare ,this my help poke them through.

oh! it's just the gate! i mentioned the trigger plugin 'cos i wasn't pretty sure that what i heard were the original drum tracks, so i guess u did a good job with the drums, it sounds pretty good.

That`s a great encouragement , drum are most of the time a mare , phase issues, bleed etc.
