I think the mix is excellent! Balance, punch, guitar tone.... it's all great. The only think I can say is the vocal is sometimes out of tune. I know this genre doesn't ask for a heavy tuning in vocals but I think tuning some notes here and there would take the mix to a higher level.

Yeah, nice mix!
Not sure if the compression is just a touch too much for the intro section where the mix is quite a bit busier, probably just me! I really do like the cohesiveness it brings to the rest of the mix otherwsie though. I found the same issue with limiting with the start and end of the mix.
I find the bass is a little bit boomy perhaps? I think there might be bit of resonance/build up in the low end of this mix around 148Hz or so. If I make a very narrow cut here, for me it tightens up the low end and cleans up the mix a lot. Stops the bass kind of 'blooming' and clouding the mix.

Yeah, I think a little automation would benefit the mix.
I think the bump you're talking about might be around 200hz, and you're right, there's a setting in my EQ for a slight bump around that.
I can't remember why I've done that move...

I dont think it's the boost exactly - I think there's a bit of resonance around 130-150 in one (or peharps both, I bussed them together) of the bass tracks.
