Diving into this song I know I am in for a world of hurt. First, there are no distorted guitars, just the DIs, and I have terrible amp sim, eleven free, Sansamp, and and lofi, not exactly premium stuffs. On top of that I am not exactly familiar with the genre so letting me have a hold of the guitar sound is generally a bad idea. But I try to make do. So hard to get the snare snappy, so I settle with what I have for now and wait for the second round. The bass is equally hard to control. I just have to let it sit for a while until I come up with another plan to tackle it. Very challenging song to mix but so much fun trying.

Firstly, sansamp and eleven free are actually REALLY solid, and if you struggle with them I can also recommend some free sims that may help "up your game". In the original mix, we didn't use the highest quality stuff; the important thing is REALLY just finding a blend of elements and making sure not to kill the air of the track.
