My mix, thanks for listening!

New version V2!
Wow! Listening to V2 and I appreciate the overall build in the intro. It's very true to the source material, and I appreciate the consideration! There's only a few comments that I'd make:

1) The screams get a bit buried underneath the cymbal slams in the second verse. It's weird but it's hard not to notice after that verse that the cymbals really pop out haha.
2) The vocal blends are usually perfect, and the fx choices are as well. It makes me wish the screams were a bit more distorted, because they feel really dry!
3) There's just a LOOOOT going on at 6khz up to maybe 8khz. I think it's those cymbals, but I can't lower them to check LOL But because of that, the otherwise really well spaced and well blended track just feels... abrasive up there in that impact zone of 5-10khz. It might also be other stuff around the cymbals, but I wouldn't know till we drop that a bit and just let the other stuff breathe, cuz that's where the only conflicts I hear are!

I hope that helps in some way, and I definitely appreciate all the mixing you've done so far.
Thank you a ton,
-Phil
