This was a fun and enjoyable mix.
BVs louder?
Overall 5hrs to mix this song.
First impressions:
- Intro sounds super cool - wish guitars cut a tiny bit more though
- Feels kind of "mono"/narrow, but the timbres are pretty on point.
- Verse vocal EQ sound pretty open + clear, smooth (maybe a touch more ~1.6 kHz?)
- Stereo vox on chorus sound sweet!
- Violins fight vox a tiny bit (eq + panning?)
- Solo is really smooth + nice! (wish the other instruments were panned a little wider though)
- Vocals "You know ... It happens too much" - really love the little slap delay, very tasteful
Overall, really really nice! Good work!
My only feedback would be: I wish it were "wider".
It feels like a considerable portion of the track uses only about 50% of the stereo field.
But - for what its worth - when those stereo Chorus vocals come in, it does sound pretty awesome ... hmm
