I know I have done this mix a while ago, and it might be here somewhere in the thread. But, I like this one so much I wanted to do it again. I give you: "Alone With You" by Justin Myles.
Observations and comments: I don't like vocals that are too dry so you will hear some nice effects on Justin's voice. I wasn't a fan of that weird double/echo thing going on with the stick/rim hits by the drummer, so I basically manually edited out ALL of those double rim hits both on the snare track AND the overheads. So, now it sounds nice and clean. I may go back into this mix and put even MORE time into it (than has already been invested into it) to do some manual pitch shifting on Justin's voice here and there (just a little) and some band tightening up, but I'll see. So, stay tuned...."ya neva know" as they say in Brooklyn. :-)
