I took the liberty of shortening the intro a bit. Wanted the song to kick off a a bit sooner. Hope the artist don't mind.

Hi Spectrum424, the artist im afraid i dont know off hand its just something from splice, it would be nice to have all the layers from it seperated but as far as i know it only comes as this combined file. I like the texture of your mix, when i get chance i will come and give feedback on all the mixes. Im no artist just made this to give back something here as its been a great resource for me personally, and i encourage any arrangement additions/editing its really good to hear all the different takes on something simple like this.

Yes, it would've been nice to have the vocals separated and unprocessed, but as you mention, since it's from a sample-library that's usually how it's delivered.
Anyway, it's a great production in all it's simplicity and I hope to hear more of your work in the future.

OK back to take a proper listen, texture wise for the lows i like, but theres a lack of openess in the high, muddiness throughout i guess not sure on terms most the time. I think just opening up 2k + on some things a bit will let it all breathe a bit better
