Here's my take on Flames. I opted to not go with the very roomy sound on drums and decided to let those stand out on their own for a little more impact. I re-amped the DI guitar through a Line 6 PodXT Pro (custom preset made using the '03 Deizel Herbert model), sent to the power amp section of a Peavey Windsor, then mic'd up the #3 speaker on a Fender vertical 412 cabinet (from top to bottom - blown '68 Fender Blue Label, Peavey Blue Marvel, Celestion V30, Celestion Greenback).
Mixed ITB using mostly stock plugins in Reaper (used Raum for delay/reverb on vocals and Izotope Ozone 8 Elements for mastering).
